Cody Henderson, age 19

Cody Henderson, age 19, of Rutherfordton, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021.

He was a graduate of Chase High School where he was a loyal member of the

basketball team. Cody had a huge heart and he showed it through being a

loving son, brother, nephew, grandson, the best uncle and best friend any

person could ask for. Some of the things he loved to do was listen to music,

play video games, camping with his grandparents, and spending time with

friends and his family.

Cody was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Ann Henderson. Survivors on his mother's side of the family all of Rutherford County include: mother, Angela Henderson, sisters, Heather Henderson, and Morrigan Godfrey, one aunt, three nieces, one nephew, and one uncle. Father's side of the family all of Gaffney include; father, Michael Parker Jr., paternal-grandparents, Mike and Wanda Parker, brother, Dustin Parker, sister, Mahala Webb, one aunt, two cousins.

A gathering service was held at McMahan's Funeral Home.
