2012 American Cancer Society Relay for Life Fundraiser
Rutherford Electric Membership Corporation is selling Christmas Bows as a fundraiser for the 2012 American Cancer Society Relay for Life. They are on display at the REMC office, 186 Hudlow Rd., Forest City. Prices start at $5 and go no higher than $10. We have a variety of colors & sizes for your holiday decorating.

Movie Night @ Spindale House
Spindale Parks and Recreation and the Spindale Library will host a free screening of “It’s a Wonderful Life” Fri. Dec. 9, 7 pm at the Spindale House. Free admission, free popcorn & lemonade, the attendees are welcome to bring a comfy pillow, sleeping bag, or blanket to sit on. Gilkey Chain Gang

The American Legion Post 423
We now have a charter for “Sons of American Legion”! Any man who has a father, grandfather, brother or uncle who served in the military can join. With this membership they will have the same benefits as a member of the American Legion. This is for any man, who has not served but their family member has.
