Community Food Drive

We are pleased to announce that REACH Rutherford 2018 through the Sandy Run Baptist Association Mission Team will be hosting a Food & Toiletry Drive on behalf of Chase Corner Ministries on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. They will be collecting food items for our Emergency Pantry that day from 10am-noon. We distribute Emergency Food to families in crisis Monday - Friday every week.

As a THANK YOU, for every person who brings a food or toiletry item to donate (non-expired please) we will give you a FREE ticket to use in our thrift store that day on any item you choose (only exception is antiques, collectibles, Happy Home & RADA new knife items).

Toiletry items needed are: toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, razors, soap, shampoo, lotion, hand-held can openers for homeless families, diapers (child & adult), wipes, toothpaste & toothbrushes, body wash, feminine hygiene products. Food items most desired are: canned fruit and vegetables, kid friendly foods like mac n cheese and spaghetti o's and juice and kid friendly snacks, breakfast items like cereal and oatmeal, canned meat and canned meals, soup and crackers, dried beans and rice, peanut butter and jelly.

We feel very blessed that these many volunteers from a variety of churches are coming that day to give back to their Neighbor in Need.
