Alzheimer's/Dementia Caregiver

Rutherford Outdoor Coalition (ROC)
Join ROC in cleaning the entire 8 miles of the Rail Trail on Sat. April 16, 11am. The trail runs from Spindale to Gilkey. We will all meet at the McDonald's in Spindale at 11am and divide up into groups from there with each group covering about a mile of trail. ROC will supply trash bags and a few pair of grabbers. Volunteers can leave their trash bags at designated locations along the trail and will be taken off after the clean-up. If interested contact dmbradl@g.clemson.edu

Friends of Agriculture Breakfast
Wed. April 20, 7am-8am. Held the 3rd Wednesday of every month at the 4-H Center; 135 Locust St. in Columbus. Each breakfast features a speaker on areas of interest to our community of farmers, gardeners, and food enthusiasts. This month's speaker is Aaron Bradley of Bradley Farms and Jon Kilmstra of TK Family Farm. Don't forget our community members in need! Donations of canned foods will be collected at this event to benefit the clients of Thermal Belt Outreach Ministries.

15th Annual Poetry Slam
Featuring; musical guest Jeff Craggier. Wed. April 20, 6pm in the ICC Library. Free and open to public. Categories include Best Interpretive, Best Original, Best STEM poems. There are both youth (18 and under) and adult competitions.
