Rutherford County Library
We are working to expand our Lego collection and could use your help. If you have extra Legos laying around, we would love to have them. They will be used in our Children's programs as well as our Maker Space. Please call 828-287-6115 if you have any questions.
Fine Free February
All Libraries in Rutherford County - Return overdue items and all late fees associated with that item will be waived. Pay one-half of outstanding late fees, and the other half will be waived (not associated with lost or damaged items). Items must be returned to owning Library in order for fees to be waived. Washburn Community Outreach Center's Thrift Store: $2 bag sale on winter clothes, Feb. 18, 19 & 20. Also, Please mark your calendars for March 1st. Camp Fundraiser
Hundreds of children and youth need financial assistance to attend South Mountain Christian Camp each year, and this is an easy way to help raise sponsorship funds on Mon. Feb. 22, 5-8pm, eat at Zaxby's in Forest City! At the end of the event, 10% of all sales made during this time will be used to sponsor kids to come to Camp. If you can't make it to this event, but would like to make a donation, you can do so by mail to SMCC, PO Box 9, Bostic NC 28018.
Country Breakfast Buffet

HOPE Grief Support Group

Celebrate Recovery
Is a recovery program based on principles from the 8 Beatitudes in Christ's Sermon on the Mount. It is where people can safely work together in helping those dealing with all types of hurts, hang-ups, or habits. Open Wed. thru Sat., 10am-4pm. ½ price sale on pillows and luggage. Proceeds benefit the Rutherford County Humane Society, a no-kill, non-profit 501(C)(3) animal rescue organization.
