Are You Ok?
A telephone reassurance program that is designed to check on our senior citizens and help them and their family have a peace of mind. The program provides a knowledge that someone cares and will be checking on them daily. There is no cost for this program. If you would like to know more about the Are You Ok? Crime Stoppers
Have information about a crime? Report is anonymously. Crime Stoppers of Rutherford County is a program established for the purpose of obtaining information about criminal activity and fugitive felons. You do not have to reveal your name. Look Good…Feel Better Program  
Mon. March 7, 10am at the Cancer Resource Center (located inside OneSource Healthcare). Volunteer Cosmetologists teach techniques to women cancer patients in active treatment including coping with skin changes and hair loss using cosmetics and skin care products. FREE program; however, registration is required. 828-245-4596 to register or for more information.

Hospice Spring Volunteer Training
•April 4-7, 6-9pm at the Carolina Event & Conference Center; 374 Hudlow Rd. Forest City. •April 4-6, 10am-3pm at the Hickory Nut Gorge Hospice Office; Suite 203 of the Arcade Building, Lake Lure. March is Red Cross Month
The Rutherford County Chapter of the American Red Cross will again host our annual CPR Sat. March 12, 9am-1pm at the ICC Gym. CPR Saturday is our way of sharing our skills with our community and, in a sense, sharing the gift of life. Please call 828-287-5916 to pre-register.

Spring Garden School
