Domestic Violence Education/Support Group

Extension Successful Gardener Program
“Edible Herbs for the Garden” held Sat. May 11, 9am-11pm at the Rutherford County Extension Center; 193 Callahan-Koon Rd., Spindale. Learn about the culinary herbs for our area, time to plant, care needed and harvesting techniques to enjoy fresh herbs in your recipes.

Festival
Sat., May 18– Spring-Go Fest at Chimney Rock Village. The Day-long Festival will kick off with a Parade down Main St. and a Pancake Breakfast at the Fire House. Fire trucks from all around the area will roll down Main Street for this old fashioned mountain parade, as well as everything from floats to kids on bikes. Cow Pie Bingo will return to the festival this year along with music, craft booths, and plenty of eats at the town’s Gathering Place and throughout the village.
 
Community Empowerment Project

Fundraiser
Sat. June 2, 12pm until at Moose Lodge, Forest City for Jimmy Smith, cancer patient. Proceeds to help family with medical bills. Event will consist of food, music & a raffle. Support Group - 3rd Tuesday of Every Month
If you are caring for a loved one with a debilitating disease we offer resources, education, and support on your journey. Come spend an hour and relax, learn, and make friends with caregivers in the same situation.
