The countywide Easter egg hunt has returned this year and will be held over a period of five days.

The Town of Rutherfordton, the Town of Spindale, Rutherford Outdoor Coalition (ROC) Union Mills Learning Center, and Broad River Water Authority have joined together to hide eggs all across Rutherford County.

The activity begins on Monday, April 11 and continues through Saturday, April 16.

Eggs can be found around the towns, along walking trails and even at water meters throughout the week.

"Most of the small eggs will have candy inside, but large golden eggs will be hidden with larger items inside, said Magnolia Long", event coordinator.
