Cynthia "Cindy" Lawing Thompson Stephens

Cynthia "Cindy" Lawing Thompson Stephens, born November 15, 1966, was born and raised in Gilkey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Zora Roper Lawing, and her husband, Robbie Thompson.

She is survived by her husband, Kent Stephens; son, Seth Wellmon and wife Amy; daughter, Alex Lane and husband Josh; stepson, Dusty Stephens and wife Alyssa; grandchild, Jimmy Lee Hutchins III, Grayson, Warren, C.J., Dawn, Tavion, Bug, Bubba, BamBam, Gage (Bree), Gwen (Mason); three step-great-grandchildren.

Cindy was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church for more than 50 years and was active in every way possible.

A memorial service was held September 11 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Blanchette and Rev. Brent Frady officiating.
