Dan L. Causby, age 76

Dan L. Causby, age 76, of Saluda, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019.

Dan was born August 12, 1942 in Rutherford County to the late Otis Causby and Vernie Lou Wright Causby. He was a truck driver for over thirty-two years and loved spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of twenty-five years, Patricia Sue Causby and two brothers, Chalmer Causby and Alfred Causby.

Those left to treasure his memory include two daughters, Kim Bowles (Jessie) of Winston, Georgia and Sherry Causby of Rutherfordton; one son, Danny Causby of Forest City; two stepdaughters, Loretta Haywood of West Virginia and Tina Campbell of Forest City and sister, Nancy Ferguson of Earl. He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great grandchildren, six step grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service was conducted at Mt. Vernon Baptist Cemetery.
