Daniel McKeown, age 76, of Mooresboro

Daniel McKeown, age 76, of Mooresboro, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026.

Daniel was born April 23, 1950 in Toronto, Canada to the late James Duffin McKeown and Yvonne Ladouceur McKeown. He was a member of High Shoal Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye McKeown; son, Shane Dysart; brothers, Michael McKeown and Terry McKeown.

Those left to honor his memory include a daughter, Shannon Dysart; son, Ricky Dysart both of Forest City; sister, Colleen McKeown of Ontario; brother, Scott McKeown of Ontario; granddaughters, Amber Dysart, Ariona Liberati, Skyler Dysart and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be conducted at 1pm Saturday, November 7 at High Shoal Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Adkins officiating.
