DAR as LLCA's Good Citizen of the Year

Lake Lure Classical Academy (LLCA) senior Mariska Grayson, along with nominees from other schools in Rutherford County, was recognized by the Griffith-Rutherford Chapter of the DAR as LLCA's Good Citizen of the Year. Mariska was nominated by school staff and voted on by the senior class as the student who best represents the qualities of leadership, service, dependability, and patriotism. Mariska is the daughter of Jamie and Christen Grayson of Fletcher. She plans to attend Western Carolina University, where she will major in Forensic Science and minor in Criminal Justice.
