Darcus Marie Revels, age 76

Darcus Marie Revels, age 76, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022.

Darcus was born August 2, 1946 in Rutherford County to the late Everette Carpenter and Willie Mae Fite Carpenter. She worked for American Greetings Inc. for many years and was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Ellenboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Left to cherish fond memories are her husband of 54 years, Gerald Samuel Revels; daughter Susan Marie Huntley (Casey) of Rutherfordton and son Chad Revels (Gayla) of Rutherfordton, six grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.

A family conducted celebration of life service was held December 17 at Victory Baptist Church in Ellenboro with Rev. Johnny McCarty and Rev. Randy Church officiating.
