David Henson, age 76

David Henson, age 76, of Ellenboro, passed away October 6, 2021.

David was born June 4, 1945 in Polk County, Tennessee to the late Luther Henson and Emma Justice Henson. He worked as an auto mechanic most of his life. David was employed by the local Ford Dealership and owned David's Garage in Forest City. He also co-owned and operated the "Appetites for Two" Restaurant with his late wife, Jean.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Jean Ann Henson; sisters, Lucille Connor, Liz Mintz and a brother, Edward Henson.

Those left to cherish his memory include daughters, Patti Bradley of Ellenboro and Carol Bradley (Anthony) of Bostic; son, Jamie Henson (Noel) of Ellenboro; five sisters, four brothers, 11 eleven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was conducted October 16, 2021 at the Alexander City Cemetery with Rev. Danny Ledford and Rev. Steve Rhinehart officiating.
