David Moore, age 62, of Forest City

David Moore, age 62, of Forest City, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025.

David was born August 28, 1962 in Rutherford County to the Jimmy Moore who resides in Forest City and to the late Joan Mask Moore.

He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1980. David worked for Beam Chevrolet in the detail shop for over 18 years. David worked for Jamie Yelton Racing as a pit crew member and in driver development. He was a member of Roberston Creek Free Will Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 34 years, Laurie Mabe Keeter Moore; daughter, Nicole Leigh Moore (Zack) of Rutherfordton; sister, Tonya Bennett (Brian) of Rutherfordton; brothers, Tracy Moore (Lorrie) of Ellenboro, Greg Moore (Tish) of Chesnee, SC and a uncle, Bill Mask (Peggy) of Mooresboro.

The funeral was held May 3 at Robertson Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Scotty Keeter and Rev. Tim Cox officiating.
