Denise Conway, age 71

Denise Conway, age 71, of Mooresboro, passed away February 15, 2022.

Denise was born November 4, 1950 in Manhattan, New York to the late Herbert S. Hysler and Tillie Guttenplan Hysler. She worked as a human resources manager for 17 years for New York City and as a payroll clerk for Buel Trucking in Chesnee. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Richard Conway; a sister, Geri Hysler and brother, Billy Hysler.

Left to cherish fond memories are sons, Anthony P. Corujo (Alicia) and Joseph H. Conway III (Amber) all of Shelby; daughter, Elisa Ruiz (Isaac) of Florida; thirteen grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held February 19, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Rev. Father Herbert Burke, Deacon Andy Cilone and Deacon David Faunce officiating.
