Dennis Cooper, age 70

Dennis Cooper, age 70, of Forest City, passed away October 26, 2021.

Dennis was born June 10, 1951 in Rutherford County to Sue Dobbins Cooper who resides in Forest City and the late Charlie Cooper. He was a graduate of East Rutherford High School. Dennis served honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include his son, Ryan Cooper of Charlotte; granddaughter, Reese Cooper and grandson, Riley Cooper and sisters, Glenda Cooper of Ellenboro and Darlene Hooper of Forest City.

The funeral was conducted November 4, 2021 in the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Mike Connor officiating. Military honors were provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
