Dennis Elbert Johnson, age 70

Dennis Elbert Johnson, age 70, of Union Mills, passed away on December 20, 2017.

Dennis was a manager at Afa Plastics. Dennis was the son of the late Edith Johnson Smith; Left to cherish his memory are his wife Charlotte Haddox Johnson; daughter Amanda Yelton and husband Jamie Yelton; Brother William Smith; Brother Junior Freshour; Sister Julie Dunn; Sister Annette Seay; Three Grandchildren.

Services were held at Crowe's Chapel. Burial will take place at The Western Carolina State Veteran's Cemetery, Black Mountain, NC on Thursday, December 28, 10AM with military honors provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. Donations may be made to Hospice PO Box 336 Forest City NC 28043.

Crowe's Mortuary is assisting the family.
