Dewey Eugene Thrift, age 78 of Ellenboro, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
Dewey was born March 8, 1942 in Gaffney, SC and was a son of the late Joseph Woodrow Thrift and Reba K. Powell Thrift.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Margaret Faye Thrift. Survivors include his sons, Dewey Lee Thrift of Ellenboro, James Gene Thrift of Mooresboro, and Donald Ray Thrift of Forest City, a brother, Joe Lee Thrift of Forest City and sister, Juanita Toney of Forest City. There are also three grandchildren, as well as a great-grandson.
The family held private funeral services at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church.
