Dianne Florimo, age 91

Dianne Florimo, age 91, of Bostic, passed away October 21, 2021.

Dianne was born April 16, 1930, in Montgomery County, New York to the late Milton V. Barkley and Alida Smalley Barkley. Dianne moved from Amsterdam, New York to North Carolina in 2020. She was a graduate of Wilber Lynch High School and the School of Commerce. She worked for Beneficial Finance Company for 30 years. After retirement, she opened a Bridal Shop in New York (Formally Yours) where she was very happy for 5 years. After closing her shop, she enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. She was very involved in her church, the United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vito C. Florimo, and a brother, William Barkley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Suzanne (Randy) Kissinger; cousins, nieces, nephews, Patti (Tom) Clark; Michael Barkley; Sandy (Chris) Blessing; David (Barbara) Smalley; grands, Adam Gendron, Samantha (Lucas) Eichorst; great grand, Alida Eichorst, and extended family.

A memorial service for Dianne will be held at a later date in New York.
