Don Whisnant, age 74

Don Whisnant, age 74, of Mooresboro, passed away July 11, 2021.

Don was born June 22, 1947 to the late Guy Whisnant and Jennie Sue Price Whisnant. He worked for Artee Industries for over 37 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 56 years, Rachel Whisnant; two daughters, Donna Yelton (Bruce) of Rutherfordton and Sandra Ledford (Scott) of Mooresboro; brother, Tommy Whisnant (Joann) of Ellenboro; two sisters, Louise Selvey of Forest City and Mary Sue Whisnant of Rutherfordton. He is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will take place on a later date.
