Donald Jolley, age 76

Donald Jolley, age 76, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023.

Donald was born September 20, 1947 in Rutherford County to the late Wid Jolley and Jean Brooks Jolley. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. In his younger years, he attended Corinth Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Barbara Jolley; daughter, Donna Jolley and by his brothers, Dale and Doug Jolley.

Survivors include his son, Donald R. Jolley II (Kim) of Boiling Springs, SC; daughters, Tracy Jolley of Ellenboro, Chrissy Radford (Chad) of Cliffside and Joan Allen (Bobby) of Mooresboro; sister, Shirley Medford of Ellenboro; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

The family received friends December 21 at Harrelson Funeral Home. Military honors were accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard following the visitation.
