Donald Lee Damron, 81, of Ellenboro

Donald Lee Damron, 81, of Ellenboro, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025.

A native of Pikeville KY, he was the son of the late Joe and Maggie Meadows Damron. Before moving to Ellenboro, Donald was a coal miner.

Donald is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Joyce Blair Damron; children, Timmy Damron, Tammy Rose and husband Jerry, Peggy Tackett and husband James; grandchildren, Heather Little, Tiffany Little, Richie Damron and wife Sarah, Brad Damron and wife Stacie, Kayla Stiltner, Whitley Damron, Brittany Thompson, Bobby Chapman and wife Phoenix, Katie Damron, Timmy Damron and Nathan Damron.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by children, Pamela Ann Damron, Noah Damron, Richie "Burhead" Damron and Adam Damron.

Funeral services were held May 9 at Plain View Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Lovelace officiating.
