Doris Nix Smith of Asheville passed away on Friday, June 12, 2020.
She will be missed by many including her loving husband of 64 years, James Smith, her daughter, Cynthia Smith Watson, her son in law, Steve Watson, and her three grandsons. She is survived by one dear brother, Marshall Nix of Rutherfordton.
In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations in her honor to be made to Spencer Baptist Church, 187 N. Oak Street, Spindale, NC or the John Keever Solace Center, PO Box 5779, Asheville, NC.
A Celebration of her life was held at Spencer Baptist Church in Spindale.
