Dorothy (Dot) Elizabeth Taylor Scott, age 74

Dorothy (Dot) Elizabeth Taylor Scott, age 74, of Gilkey, passed away Friday, June 19, 2021.

Dot was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Marjorie Taylor; husband Lee Sparks; two sisters, Annette Fisher and Sandra Brock; and two brothers, William and Roger Taylor.

Those left behind to cherish her memories include daughter, Tracy Alley (Chris); son, Sam Sparks; four grandchildren, brothers, Sam Taylor, II (Janice) and Michael Taylor (Sherry); sister, Donna Hudson (Del); sister-in-law, Jean Taylor, and numerous special nephews, nieces and friends.

Funeral services were held on at Crowe's Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, or Gilkey United Methodist Church.
