Dorothy "Dot" Helen Hovis Beatty, age 95

Dorothy "Dot" Helen Hovis Beatty, age 95, formerly of Spindale passed away November 9, 2021.

Dot was a native of Rutherford County, a graduate of RS Central High School, a member of Spindale United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death was her husband Bill Beatty, daughter Jayne Johnson, parents Robert Hovis and Hettie Kate Keeter Hovis, sisters Margaret Philbeck, Bobbie Cox, Sybil James and Sarah Hovis.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son in law Jimmy Johnson and granddaughter Jamie Johnson Atti (Bill); two great grandchildren.

A celebration was helf November 12 at Crowe's Mortuary with the Rev. Eric Marshburn officiating.
