Dorothy "Dot" Owenby Parker, age 72

Dorothy "Dot" Owenby Parker, age 72, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020.

Dot was born May 20, 1947 in Buncombe County to the late Jack Owenby and Elsie Warren Owenby.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Christine King; brother, Jack "Junior" Owenby and sister-in-law, Ruth Owenby.

Those left to cherish her memory include two daughters, Rhonda McConnell (Frank) of Chesnee, SC and Darlene Parker of Indiana; son, Jesse King of Chesnee; two brothers, Jake Owenby and Jerry Owenby (Sheila) all of Candler, NC. Also seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was conducted the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
