Dorothy Tate, age 78

Dorothy Tate, age 78, of Ellenboro, went home to with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

Dorothy was born May 29, 1945 in Cleveland County to the late Carl Irvin and Annie Connor Irvin. She was a devoted homemaker. She was a member of Souls Harbor Church in Mooresboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Randall.

Survivors include her children, Brent Jenkins (Vicki Fish) of Ellenboro, Karen Jenkins of Ellenboro, Barbara Hutchins (Tina Gregory) of Clover, SC, Aster Henry Jenkins (Dawn) of Ellenboro and Danielle Jenkins of Ellenboro; a special son, Eddie Hutchins of Ellenboro; sister, Daisy William of Shelby; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held July 29 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Chuck Poole officiating.
