Dorothy Wynn Carlton Kelley, age 100

Dorothy Wynn Carlton Kelley, age 100, of Forest City, passed away, Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Dorothy was born February 3, 1923 in Hamilton County, FL to the late Arthur Wynn and Hattie Meeks Wynn. She worked in Polk County, FL for Nunn Brothers Fruit Processing Company and thirty years for the Polk County Public Schools. Dorothy was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, James Carlton and Woodrow Kelley; sister, Bessie McElwain; brothers, George and Edgar Wynn and a granddaughter, Susan Michelle Fox.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Linda Walters; one grandson, three great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service is being planned for Dorothy at the Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland, FL.
