Dovie Patterson Edwards, age 94

Dovie Patterson Edwards, age 94, of Rutherfordton passed away Tuesday September 18, 2012.

She was a native of Transylvania County, a retired CNA and a member of Forest Lake Baptist Church.
 She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert Edwards and parents Richard and Hettie Grant Patterson.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Thomas Edwards and wife Linda; sister Martha Burnette and grandchildren Lauren Edwards and Bobby Early. 

Funeral services were held at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Toney officiating. Burial followed in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. 

Crowe’s Funeral Home is serving the family.
