Earl "Keith" Grimmett, 58, of Rutherfordton

Earl "Keith" Grimmett, 58, of Rutherfordton passed away May 23, 2026.

He was born May 25, 1967 in Logan, West Virginia and will be remembered for his love of his family, his strength, and the memories he shared with those closest to him.

Keith is survived by his former wife, Robin Costner and her partner Jared Cope; daughter Tia Whelan; grandchildren, Barrett Whelan, Brookelynn Whelan, and Braxton Whelan, mother, Brenda Grimmett; former son in law Thomas Whelan; brother Donald Grimmett; sister, Leslie Grimmett, niece Tiffany Buchino and husband Joe, many other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ross "Buddy" Grimmett Jr. and his brother, Michael Grimmett.
