Early Explorer's Club Meets March 16

Rutherford Outdoor Coalition's Early Explorers Club will meet on March 16 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The theme for March is Animal Adaptations. Anyone interested is asked to RSVP by contacting Jess at jess@rutherfordoutdoor.org for meeting location and other details.

Shown above is the club meeting at the Spindale House in February. At the meeting the Explorers learned about Rocks and Minerals. Explorer's visited fun-filled stations featuring hands-on activities to encourage their inner Geologist. At one station, explorers were able to choose a tumbled rock to handcraft into a wire wrapped necklace.
