Edith Jenkins Dula, age 91

Edith Jenkins Dula, age 91, of Forest City, passed away Monday, November 21, 2022.

Edith was born April 26, 1931 in Scotland Neck, NC to the late Henry Haynes Jenkins and Mary Lou Jenkins. She was a graduate of Tri-High School. Edith worked as a cashier for the Sears Department Store in Forest City for 30 years before retirement. She was a member of Florence Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Charles Dula; sons Mike and Tim Dula and brother Henry Jenkins, Jr.

Left to cherish fond memories are her daughter-in-law, Brenda Dula of Leicester, and one granddaughter.

The funeral service was held November 28 at Florence Baptist Church with Rev. Tonya Garrison and Rev. Scott Haynes officiating.
