Edward Calton "Cal" Thompson III, 56

Edward Calton "Cal" Thompson III, 56, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020.

A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of Edward Calton Thompson, Jr. of Mooresboro and Suzette Collins-Tielman of Forest City.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his son, Edward Calton Thompson IV of Forest City; step-daughters, Sarah Robbins of Ellenboro, and Laura Robbins of Rutherfordton; and a sister, Anna Thompson of Mt. Holly. There are also a number of aunts, uncles and friends.

Graveside services were held in the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
