Edwin "Eddie" Holt Gilbert; age 69

Edwin "Eddie" Holt Gilbert; age 69, passed away on June 5, 2021.

Eddie was born in Rutherford County, and was a lifelong resident of Spindale, NC.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice "Tina" Duncan, and his father, aunt, and uncle, William Schuler "Bill" Duncan, Frances Harrill Duncan, and Charles "Russell" Duncan.

Aside from being survived by his son Joshua Duncan Gilbert, and his daughter Molly Gilbert Oakman, he leaves behind his loving partner Lynn Sessoms, daughter in law Leslie Johnson Gilbert, and his five grandchildren and his faithful dog.

A graveside service was held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park, Forest City.
