Elbert Munsey, 88, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020.
Born January 1, 1932 to the late Marion Herbert Munsey and Lizzie Childress Munsey. Elbert was a Korean War Vet.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Macy Harris Munsey; one son Dean Munsey and wife Ann; two brothers C.C. Munsey and Paul Dean Munsey; three sisters Beatrice Melton, Corina Coffey and Sarah Lou Lowery, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two very special nieces.
Interment was held at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Elbert Munsey will be at a later date.
