Eretta Rogers Weathers, age 88

Eretta Rogers Weathers, age 88, of Cherryville, NC passed away April 21, 2022.

Eretta was born July 15, 1933 in Lugoff, SC to the late Lewis and Essie Bowen. She worked for Rex Milll and J.P. Stevens Mill. Eretta was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Dallas.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Rev. Thomas Rogers and Rev. Bobby Weathers; daughters, Bobbie Smith, Wanda Rogers and an infant, Fletta Mae Rogers; one grandson, Thomas Christopher Rogers; four brothers and four sisters.

Left to cherish fond memories are her son, Douglas Rogers (Carol) of Cherryville; brother, Jack Bowen (Mary) of Dallas; three grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren.

No formal services are planned at this time.
