Eric Hester honored with retirement reception

The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office honored Cpl. Charles 'Eric" Hester with a reception to acknowledge his retirement.

Cpl. Hester completes 30 years of faithful service in law enforcement.

Sheriff Chris Francis presented Cpl. Hester with an engraved crystal, his Corporal badge, and his service weapon.

Sheriff Francis thanked Cpl. Hester for his dedicated service to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office, and the citizens of Rutherford County.

Sheriff Francis expressed that Cpl. Hester will be truly missed as well as the services he provided.

Cpl. Hester served as a School Resource Officer, firearms instructor and was one of the first Gang Resistance Education And Training (G.R.E.A.T.)instructors for schools in Rutherford County.
