Ernestine H. Pace, age 71

Ernestine H. Pace, age 71, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2022.

Ernestine was born July 28, 1951 in Polk County to the late Jesse James Henderson and Myrtle Lookadoo Henderson. She worked at Four-Leaf Mill and Cone Mills for many years and was a past member of New Beginnings Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44years, Robert Hampton Pace, brothers Doyle Henderson, Don Henderson and sister Carolyn Dixon.

Left to cherish fond memories are daughter Melissa Alley (Jody) and son, Robert Pace III (Alisha) of Forest City, brothers Harvey Henderson (Betty) of Caroleen, Harold Dean Henderson (Marie) of Shiloh and Larry Henderson (La Monda) of Forest City, sisters-in-law Cathy Henderson of Ellenboro, Alice Ellis (Mike) of Forest City and Patricia Ferguson of Forest City, four grandchildren.

The funeral service was held October 26 at Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robbie Hensley officiating.
