Ervin Munn, age 82

Ervin Munn, age 82, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023.

Ervin was born December 15, 1940 in Kershaw County, SC to the late James Munn and Addie Segers Munn.

He worked as a trucking supervisor for many years and most recently worked for Carolina Freight before retirement.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joey Munn.

Those left to cherish fond memories include his wife of 62 years, Nancy Munn; children, Tommy Munn of Forest City, Sonya Philbeck (David) of Bostic, Mickey Munn (Heather) of Rutherfordton and Aaron Munn of Forest City; brother, Sherill Munn (Debbie) and a sister, Sandra Knight (Jerry) all of Kershaw, SC, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends was held June 17 at Harrelson Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations requested to Meals on Wheels, c/o Rutherford County Senior Center, 193 Callahan Koon Rd. #132, Spindale, NC 28160.
