Etta Toney, age 84

Etta Toney, age 84, of Forest City, passed away December 11, 2021.

Etta was born March 26, 1937 in Rutherford County to the late Gleason Toney and Ossie Murray Toney. She was a graduate of Sunshine High School and worked at Mastercraft for many years. Etta was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, William Toney, Jr. and Billy Max Toney; sisters, Louise Smiley, Brenda Toney, Diane Toney and Kathy Perry.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son David Toney (Sheila) of Forest City; granddaughter, Jessica Toney of Forest City; brother, Jerry Toney (Brenda) of Shelby, four nephews, and one niece.

A graveside service was conducted December 14, 2021 at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Scott Butler officiating.
