Eula "Pete" Lancaster McMahan, age 84 of Mooresboro died Saturday, February 11, 2023.
She was born March 17, 1938 in York County, SC and was a daughter of the late Carvel McFadden and Julie Thrower.
Pete, as she was known, earned a business degree from Spartanburg Methodist Women's College. She proudly worked as an owner and operator of her own business, The House of Awards in Forest City until retirement. She also worked as Secretary to the NC Attorney General.
She was a devout Christian.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse Lancaster and her second husband, Donald McMahan.
Survivors include her daughters, Judy Lancaster Smith and husband Calvin (Skip) Smith of Spartanburg, Kristy Lancaster Carlisle and husband Shane Carlisle of Mooresboro, two granddaughters, three grandsons, three great-granddaughters.
The funeral service was held February 18 in The Padgett and King Chapel.
