Representatives that form the Prevent Child Abuse Committee from Family Resources of Rutherford County, Partnership for Children of the Foothills, Rutherford County Sherriff's Office, Rutherford County Schools, Guardian ad Litem, and Rutherford County DSS are coming together next Tuesday to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The committee members will wear blue and help plant a pinwheel garden, which serves as the national symbol for child abuse prevention throughout the United States. During the event, a representative of the town will read the Rutherford County Child Abuse Prevention Proclamation.
