Russ Burnick of Rutherfordton stands with his display of flowers from his garden at the Farmers Market in Forest City. Burnick, like the other vendors, practiced social distancing and wore face coverings. More than 10 vendors presented their vegetables, plants and meats Saturday morning. The market is open each Saturday from 9 to 12 p.m. near the Pavilion on Park Square just off the Thermal Belt Rail Trail.
