Flag Day celebrated in Forest City

June 14th was Flag Day and is celebrated each year recognizing the history and symbolism of the American flag.

On Sunday the Christopher Ebert Marine Corps League in Forest City placed dozens of flags in downtown Forest City. The anniversary marks the official adoption of the flag by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777.
