The Washburn Community Outreach Center in Bostic will be giving food away on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the center. Please have vehicle trunks clear so volunteers can put food boxes inside. This week's food giveaway is from The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), a federal program that assists those in need.
The thrift store will be open from 9 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. and everyone is invited to come and shop for good bargains. Money generated from the store helps the Center continue its food giveaways. Those planning to shop must wear a face covering.
