Food Lion Donates to area food pantries

Food Lion in Forest City celebrated its re-grand opening Wednesday morning inviting patrons and new customers to shop at the South Broadway store. Shown above are the store's employees, including Store Manager Debbie Thomas and Assistant Store Manager Nicole, during the ribbon cutting ceremony. As part of the grand opening the store donated a total of $1,500 to three food pantries in Rutherford County. Washburn Outreach Community Center, Basics Ministries and the food ministry at Adaville Baptist Church received donation checks each in celebration of the store's new look.
