Forest City Fire Rescue Department participates in day of training

Personnel from the Forest City Fire Rescue Department participated in a day of training last week. EMT classes were held in the morning and they practiced rescue procedures in the afternoon. Chief Ferrell Hamrick stressed the need for training since fire and rescue responders never know what they will encounter when they receive a call.
