Frances Hamrick Waters, 91

Frances Hamrick Waters, 91, of Forest City, passed away January 4, 2023.

A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Eva Robertson Moore, and niece of Susan Moore and Charlie Hoyle and sister of Joanne Moore Butler.

She was an employee of Spindale/ New Cherokee mill for over forty years. She was a member of Adaville Baptist Church and formerly of Spencer Baptist Church.

Frances was married to Benny Joe (Peck) Hamrick for forty years, Falsom Roberts and Joe Waters.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Sandy Carpenter of Rutherfordton, and Sharon Moran of Raleigh; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043, Adaville Baptist Church, 805 Oakland Rd., Spindale, NC 28160, Spencer Baptist Church, 187 N. Oak St., Spindale, NC 28160 or the Alzheimer's Association.
