Frances Tate Roddy, age 81

Frances Tate Roddy, age 81, of Harris, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

Frances was born February 24, 1939 in Rutherford County to the late Lloyd Tate and Mary Rich Tate.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Hoyle Tate, Louvenia Bailey, Irene Gulledge, James Tate, Howard Tate and Herman Tate.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of sixty-one years, Curtis Roddy; two daughters, Gretchen Jolley of Spartanburg and Greta Wallace (Edward) of Harris; brother, Doyle Tate of Longs, SC and a granddaughter.

A graveside service was conducted at the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home, 1881 Big Island Road, Rutherfordton, NC 28139.

Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is serving the family.
